So what’s everyone’s plans for baseball season since it’s over before it even got started for us? Lol Honestly, I just hope Cashman lets us suck and doesn’t trade away the few prospects we have for rental pieces that won’t fix the teams woes. Take the lumps with the kids and build for next season and try trading away the elder statesmen on this team that shouldn’t be here anymore.
This franchise is so fucking stupid, and has been for years. We went through the same shit at the beginning of the year last year they should've known there was a problem, but our medical department has a history of making dumb ass non-moves. But no, they decided to just shut him down for several games beginning of the year instead. ...and before someone says that this is hindsight, this was pointed out last year too. He should've been shut down last year for surgery and he would be starting this season...this shut down of Cole also makes some of our recent off-season moves, moot. ......idiots.
It should be said again. This is what happens when you’re now fielding a relatively old team. Schmidt they say should hopefully be a short stint on IL but you never want to hear of a shoulder injury. Especially with a guy who missed a lot last year.
