Yeah, taught to shoot is a better description. He was a disaster his first year. As is Wroton right now, shooting wise at least. I think having height at the point will help a ton during the tourney. I was at the Sweet 16 game 2 years ago against West Virginia. Their 1-3-1 zone killed us. None of our PGs could pass (or see) over that first guy. I think our downfall will be our lack of depth at the 4 and 5. Hopefully Shawn Kemp Jr. can develop into a good backup this season.
Romar on Ross: -Bedge Interesting comparison. It's difficult to gauge him right now because of his severely slight built. Davis at 6'10" 235 lbs, he'd be a monster.
Davis (via draftexpress): Height (with shoes): 6-9 ½ Weight: 208.7 Wingspan: 7-4 Camby (at the time of the draft): Height: 6'11" (w/o shoes) 223 lbs. Unless he still has room to grow the height difference between these two is pretty significant.
Watching UNC I think Tyler Zeller is going to be one of those players that annoys the hell out of you. He flops and does it well. He's like Scott Pollard in this regard.
I'm watching Michigan play right now. Tim Hardaway Jr. looks like he's gonna be a damn good player. Skilled and understands the game. Really unselfish. Good size, unlike his pops.
If you wanna watch some good college ball, turn on ESPN right now. Duke/Ohio St. This William Buford dude for Ohio State is a baller. Kinda reminds of Roy in that he's stayed all 4 years and has good size for the SG position. He's a money long ball shooter.
I saw OU's court on ESPN this morning and it was kind of distracting. I get the whole tree reference but the contrast was too much, especially on a flat screen.
Anthony Davis is a monster! 15 pts 15 rebs 8 blks A GM would be a fool to take Drummond over this kid.
Why do you say that? Drummond will be better. Davis is a beanpole. He reminds me of John Henson and Brandan Wright.
