both the offense and defense showed up, finally, in the 4th Q I agree they are not top-20 material right now. Not only did they lose two starters on defense in the 1st Q today, including their best player, they also lost the two projected starting CB's to suspension about 2 weeks ago. They played a lot of freshman today I still think a lot of the problems today were from poor play by the Oline and Anthony Brown struggling at times. The Ducks also had several stupid major fouls on defense. Self-inflicted wounds. That personal foul on Flowe just before halftime gave the Bulldogs that TD. FSU had no timeouts and the clock would have run if it wouldn't have been for that penalty as far as the injuries, it looked like Thibodouax just has a sprained ankle. If it was more serious than that the staff would not have let him walk around in a boot. But it looked like the Dru Mathis injury was a lot more serious. Any time you see somebody in a knee brace like that it's probably not good news
This is what's out there, maybe it will change? Oregon Ducks defensive backs Jamal Hill, DJ James suspended https://www.oregonlive.com › ducks › 2021/08 › orego... DJ James and Jamal Hill Reinstated - Sports Illustrated https://www.si.com › Oregon Ducks › Football
well, I guess Ducks are using SEC rules for punishment what those guys did was dangerous and stupid. Might very well be criminal charges
I wasn't able to watch the Ducks, but followed the gamecast. Good win, not great. Brown did a serviceable job, but wasn't dynamic. For the Ducks to have any chance next week, he will have to be dynamic ,THROWING the ball. I wish Thompson was further along. His talent is comparable to OSU's QB. I hope Brown Jr. proves me wrong. Watching the bumbling Beavers now. Noyer playing mediocre. Frustrating, cause his receivers are getting open. He's fine on the dink & dunk, but brutal on sideline, and down the field throws. I like both the Beavs & Ducks. More the Ducks though.
He threw it with authority. Nice maneuvering in the pocket too. Yes, but it was accurate pass. Purdue looks to have 2 future pro corners . Those guys are both over 6-2 and built, and play the position amazing.
The LSU QB, under relentless pressure, looks to be made of the right stuff. Got some serious arm strength. with accuracy.
