Fact, I think their speed and their incredible backcourt will make up for a lack of post play.

F or F: Guillermo Diaz will be an All American

Fiction. First of all it's not going to be called the 'Wooden Award', second of all Daniel Gibson wouldn't even get my vote for point guard of the year so why should he get player of the year honors. Player of the year for me right now would either go to Sheldon Williams with maybe Mardy Collins a far second.

F/F - MSU will land a top ten recruit some time in the next three years...([IMG])

FACT, "cinderella potential" is a pretty vague term though. There are tons of teams who have "cinderella potential", and there are only three or four that make serious splashes every year.

Fact or Fiction - Pittsburgh's Levon Kendall will average more than twelve points per game this year, after an impressive Olympic Qualifiers performace, which included scoring 40 points against Team USA playing for Canada.

Fact, he has shown great scoring ability

Can Miami be one of those team F or F.

FACT, Miami probably will be. They've got an experienced and talented roster with great guard play. They've gone under the radar for the most part this preseason, so they could end up with a low seed; fitting for a cinderella team.

Fact or Fiction - Jordan Farmar will be an All-American this season.

Fact, maybe not first team but he def. deserves a 2nd or third team vote.

F or F: Anthony Harris will emerge as a big point guard in the ACC.

Fact or Fiction a "mid major" team will make the Sweet 16 (a la Southern Illinois, Kent State, etc)

Fiction. There's too much talent among big name schools (Texas, Villanova, Louisville, Michigan State, Duke, UConn, Gonzaga) for any mid major to make the Sweet 16 in my mind.

F/F - UCLA is a final four team.

Fiction-not this year. This team is dangerous as hell, but they're also very young and I'd put my money on next year.

Fact or Fiction Paul Davis will emerge as an All American

Fiction, to much competition at PG but he will have a good year.

F or F Washington will still be good without getting martell Webster and losing Nate.

FACT, He is; no question about it. I think this has been asked about 100 times before already though.

Fact or Fiction - The Big Ten and the Big East will be the two conferences to have the most combined teams in the NCAA Tournament this season.

(BTW - Paul Davis is better than "that guy from Wake Forest" a.k.a. Eric Williams, and if he just played up to his potential for once, he'd be better than Smith and just as good as Williams.)

FACT-These are arguably the deepest conferences in college basketball. I can see 6, maybe 7 teams from each in the tourney.

Fact or Fiction Boston College will win 10 ACC conference games.

There is no need for that. This is a legit discussion, it's called "fact or fiction", not "Homer Prophets Sound Off". Cal won't win the Pac 10, just to continue with the game.

Fact or Fiction: Drew Neitzel will become the best PG in the Big 10 this year.
