For the NY Giants they need a LT, OLB, CB. There is Jon Beason, who IMO is the best OLB in the draft, a very athletic Vilma like LB. There is also the speedster CB Chris Houston. Joe Staley would be a reach here
Anyone disagree with Adam Carriker to Denver? He seems to be the logical pick since he's arguably the best player on the board and they missed out on signing Patrick Kerney.

Jim Bates needs a Jason Taylor like presence on the D Line.

Spencer and Moss included.

In said scheme, you need 2 shutdown CB's which Denver now has, 2 Big DT's, fast & rangy LB's which Denver has even w/o Wilson, & of course a pass rush specialist (RDE). The other DE is more well rounded i.e Carriker but I just can't see Denver spending a 1st rounder on a LDE in this scheme. Ogunleye played opposite J Taylor for years and was a UDFA (if memory serves). Denver should go w/ Moss JMO
I thought Grubbs was a major reach, Guards dont typically go in the 1st round. Kalil is better than Grubbs and fits better into their zone blocking system. I think with the next pick, the cowboys should pick Carriker. He would be perfect for that 3-4 DE.
my bad fellas, i thought we were waiting til the actual draft date 2 do it, i woulda picked alan brach 4 san fran, and i was gonna go wit a d-line man 4 denver but i didnt know how much time i had left so i just threw a name out there. sorry about dat again fellas

Per Fox Sports Rocky Mtn, the Broncos will become more of a dropback passing team with Cutler henve the need for bigger OL. Kalil is a Center and only a Center as I understand. FWIW, It was FSRM that mentioned the Broncos were thinking about Moss. I recently purchased Street & Smiths Draft preview but can't recall who was their #1 DE. Once I heard the Broncos which way the Broncos might lean and who the Def Co-ord is it all fell into place. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>I think with the next pick, the cowboys should pick Carriker. No, Jerry Jones went to Arkansas and I believe Houston is still on our board.

Certainly not a need pick, but with the top LBs taken Carriker presented the best value. He fits the Pats scheme perfectly & his stock has risen greatly since the Senior Bowl.
Well this is a big dude that could spell Seymour & Warren. The Pats have the luxury of drafting value over need especially with another pick at 28.
