It's weird how people keep going out and overlooking this?!?! Asik for Anderson is value for value that works for both teams. Neither team is getting hosed here. Then people say CJ and Lopez is the best value for Asik. Well yeah, if they didn't have Howard and The Beard already!!!

Yeah, I don't see the point of trading CJ. If they would accept Leonard, Barton, and Claver, I'd do it in a second, but they're not going to go for that.

I agree that Andersen would be a great fit next to Howard, as they've already shown, but New Orleans needs the versatility that Andersen brings. He's been playing great for them lately. I think Houston would have to sweeten the pot to get him

Anything makes sense just as long as it doesn't involve the Blazers.

Then why do everything possible to hold on to that rookie when he's not going to get that much time if your a win now team? He will take some of Mo's minutes away I'm sure.

You are 100% right. We are 16-3 and having great chemistry. We have 3 legit 16+ scorers, and 5 players averaging over 10+ points a game. There is absolutely no point changing what isn't broke.

I would do Freeland, CJ and Claver and a 2014 pick for Asik. Then I would go shopping in the free agent market and target a guy like Kurt Thomas.

Where we getting this 2014 pick? We've traded all our 2nd rounders and the first is owed to Bobcats

They don't want to trade Asik, Asik wants traded. They want a rim protector off the bench

As Durant said "tough shit". Asik is getting paid to play (A good payroll I will add). If he doesn't want to play for Houston, then sulk on the bench like a bitch.

that's not the debate is it? It's good for us that he want's traded, he is a elite defensive center and is available. Considering how rare that is it makes sense to try to get him

No it's that he wants to be traded because he's a whiny bitch. It's not being disgruntled because the team you play for isn't doing what it takes to win. In his case, they did the exact opposite. Asik is just like Turk that feels entitled to be a starter. He didn't even play it through to see if it could even work. He said "fuck this, if I'm not starting, trade me"
