Another issue you would need to resolve with this is that a lot of traffic to the Nets forum comes from Nets Daily. The link from the Nets Daily message board links directly to the Nets forum on S2. Many of the Nets posters come to S2 to specifically talk about the Nets, and don't venture outside of the Nets forum for that reason.</div> So they're Nets fans and NOT basketball fans“ IE they only care about what happens to the Nets.. kinda lame IMO. It's like voluntary segregation. </div> Or maybe they're basketball fans that only want to talk about the Nets. I don't see anything wrong with that, it's not like they're forcing other people to unwillingly do the same.
You have to give posters like me some time. I found out about the forum from Netsdaily as well, as till now I think its a really sociable and comfortable society. We got all different posters out here. 2 reasons why I usually post in the Nets forum: 1) Im primarily a Nets fan - thats why I post it in the Nets forum e.g, Deng re-signs with Bulls. (whats that got to do with Nets!?) <-- possible Nocioni signing. Many other posts seemingly unrelated is interesting to a Nets fan like me, its just bringing some news into a Nets context. 2) Im still relatively foreign(as in not dont really know) other posters in S2. Thus, the Nets forum seems more like a refuge( in a weird way). have to get to know the others posters a bit more before exploring other boards.

And when you feel ready, venture out into other sections of S2 and engage with other posters.

It makes sense to talk about it there, but not if it's a huge problem or it makes people unhappy.
