    i think that edgerrin james has to be the most complete back as he is fast, powerful, and can catch the ball out of the backfield.

    I think LT tops Edge any day. He was all great until he went to the Cards.

He can't run inside and he can't block blitzing LB's. Two of the most important talents for an RB to have. As Marshall Faulk has said on ESPN Radio, running outside the tackles is easy because you see people. When you run inside all you see is flashes of jersey color and you are trying to find the hole based on movement and flashes of color in just a couple seconds. It's exponentially harder to run inside than outside.
