Crossover, good to see you making a cameo appearance. Remember me? [IMG]

The Spurs deserved to win the game. They stuck at it all night long and never let the Pistons stretch the lead. Duncan shook off all doubters and as a result, San Antonio won. Congratulations.

What's the use of crying about it? Is it anyone's fault that the Spurs forum doesn't have enough posters? You don't even have the Spurs as your favorites on your profile.

Yeah, cameo is right, and yes I do remember you. I'm more surprised you remember me. And I'm still on the design team, ha.

And the most important play of the game was probably that block on Billups by Bowen. However, the most important play of the series was Big Shot Rob in game 5, overtime.

Why cameo? Make it permanent and you'll be remembered by everyone. [IMG]

YEAH! They did it! It was a hard-fought, nail-biting series for all of us Spurs fans (I'm pretty sure I lost 2 years of my life watching the last 4 games)but I guess I can now, after they won it, appreciate the 7 game series. Sorry if I don't sound like much of a true sports fan, but I really wanted a blow out 4/5 game series. Play it safe, but the Spurs are notorious for making things hard on themselves which was why the Phoenix series was such a shocker and why this series wasn't. In the end, I must admit that game 7 made this title all the more sweeter of the 3. Tons of memories. Just wish they coulda split that MVP between Timmy and Manu or did co-MVPs. Oh well, there's always next year...

I agree MUMan, co-MVPs would have been appropriate. Manu carried the team in the first two games, and was the clutch player down the stretch. Until last night, Timmy really choked in crunch time. Great series by both teams, and a good chance they meet again next year. The Spurs have a chance to really dominate if they can stay hungry and focused. Their core players are locked in contract wise and are still young. Tony Parker should be re-signed without any problems, and the Spurs bring over Luis Scola next year. He is a power forward version of Ginobili. They even have cap room to sign a free agent and a 1st round pick in the draft.

Congratulations to the Spurs. They played very well throughout most of the playoffs, and played a great finals series with the Pistons. The Spurs are deserving champions [IMG] .
