Polio was not widely fatal. 72% of infections were asymptomatic. 24% resulted in mild illness. 1-5% resulted in more severe short term symptoms.

Less than 1% of cases were critical and led to permanent paralysis, or even death in 5-30% of these.

Right wing groups have poured hundreds of thousands of dollars to a slate of four Trump cultists running to replace current members on a platform of no masks/vaccines and not teaching anything that makes white people uncomfortable. Vote for us. We want children ignorant and sick.
