    Gave myself a DIY covid test and tested negative. Big time head cold, headache bit of sore throat, no fever.
    Just a good old fashion head cold.

    My wife is getting a little concerned. She has allergies, but hasn't had a real outbreak since all this started and she is wondering when she does, because she will, will her natural antibodies be gone and it will hit her super hard? It’s already bad enough to require prescription meds for it. Or has been. She has never gone more than 6 months without a good outbreak. She is going on two years now.

    Also. Im still having long haul vibes. Numbing of tongue and lips now. Body aches have come back abit, along with head congestion, but no draining.

    I'm so sorry you are still having problems from covid.

    I have no idea about your wife and allergies. Has she ever been tested and done allergy shots? I remember my dad did that for a while. He grew up in Cuba and South America and the pollen here really gave him problems.

    Indiana's Republican controlled state legislature decided this is the right time to prohibit businesses from having vaccine mandates.
    Remember when conservatives hated government interference in private business? That was only when it meat minimum wage, nondiscrimination and pollution control.

    US confirms its first Omicron death as unvaccinated Houston man in his 50s who'd PREVIOUSLY been infected with COVID and who suffered from underlying conditions, with variant now the dominant strain that's causing 73% of new infections
    • Omicron has raced ahead of other variants and is now the dominant version of the coronavirus in the U.S., accounting for 73% of new infections last week
    • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention numbers showed nearly a six-fold increase in Omicron's share of infections in only one week
    • It's responsible for an estimated 90% of new infections in the New York area, the Southeast, the industrial Midwest and the Pacific Northwest
    • On Monday the first death from Omicron was confirmed - an unvaccinated man in his 50s living near Houston, who had underlying health issues
    • He had been infected previously, Harris County Public Health said, adding that his death was a reminder of the need for everyone to get vaccinated
    • Joe Biden will address the nation on Tuesday and discuss the surge in cases - but is unlikely to recommend further lockdowns, Jen Psaki said
