Well, I wasn't starting from getting vaccinated = giving up freedom. I was talking about Orwell's society, but let's see. Is forcing someone to be vaccinated against his will an act of taking away his freedom?
Imagine dr fauci says that you need to get a heroin shot. It is a law. You don't want it. But it is a law. Most people around take it. You are not sure about it. But they force you. What you do?
There is Nuremberg Code to protect you from this kind of stuff.

But nobody has said that. You are free to refuse the vaccine. That may mean you lose access to certain things you want to do, or be fired from your job.

But that's not what you said.

Anybody who has refused the vaccine should be dropped from insurance immediately or have their insurance rates doubled. They should not be allowed in a hospital until they have been vaccinated.

They can go out to covid tents in the parking garage instead.

Going out from your home was ok as well, unless they put you on quarantine.

How about freedom of speech. No cases here. They just ban you for missinformation.

You have to show your Kennkarte to visit cinema or restaurant. I don't see the problem here.

There were no significant changes in your freedoms at all.

In any case, in light of this recent surge, people really shouldn't be partying in bars, inside or out. She represents her district in NY, a place with record COVID-19 infections. She should set the example, stay home and stay masked up, not escape NY to somewhere that is open.

An older coworker of mine (I wouldn't call her obese, but overweight for sure) was nervous about coming into the office after a couple people tested positive for covid. No problem, that makes sense, work from home until you feel safe. Same coworker has a cruise scheduled for next month. What an idiot.

 

They are talking about changing the CDC guidelines again. 5 days quarantined followed by a negative COVID test.
