If they are in a private room, there is still an indoor mask mandate. And there is no "private room" exception for mega events.

That is a stadium rule. Not a legal mandate. If the stadium wants to ban them they are welcome to do so.

The mandate states masks are required in PUBLIC INDOOR SPACES.

A private suite is not public.

Yes, it's a private room (meaning other people cannot interact with them unless invited in). They almost certainly wore masks in and out, or took a private hall which didn't expose them in this huge building with ample airspace.

There is almost no increased risk of spread in this situation.
