So, no food or drink is served in these suites then? Are you supposed to eat through thw mask?

Sorry, the mandate isn't what you are claiming. It's not 100% of the time in all circumstances. Logical people understand that.

People who want to be petty muckrake about pictures like this.

At both of our Christmas family get togethers, both had about 20 people in a house. We all wore masks the whole time EXCEPT when taking pictures.

They do not appear to be actively eating and drinking.

The mandates are the mandates. They wrote the rules, they can't be above them.

Yes, if you're with a few vaccinated people outdoors, you shouldn't have to worry about getting a picture taken without a mask.

Just like you should be allowed to eat without a mask in a similar situation.

They are getting a picture taken...

I'm not supporting them (I couldn't care less if they lose public support), just saying this isn't a big deal.

The rules have exceptions and you don't know what was going on here.

I guess I missed the part in the LA County Health Order directive that states that its ok to take pictures and take off their mask.

If you truly believe they weren't maskless pretty much the entire game, I have a great work-at home business opportunity for you, where your network is your networth.

I don't pretend to know what I have no evidence of. I also don't care if they were maskless in their own area, outdoors, with vaccinated people.

I care about reasonably mitigating risk. What they did put nobody at increased risk.

Because kids go to school in open air stadiums and are isolated in partitioned pods of a few people!!!

    Yeah!!!

Wouldn't you say that if they had masks on the entire time, the risk would be less than if they were maskless?

    Or do Masks not work?

Wait, you just said they were indoors in a private room?

    And now they are outdoors?

    What is it?

It's an open air stadium... The suite is partitioned off from others. There is a constant flow of fresh air to all suites. It's far safer than eating dinner inside a restaurant or going shopping.

People who are vaccinated and boosted do not spread the disease at epidemic rates. The difference in a vaccinated person wearing a mask or not is negligible.

So if people are vaccinated it's not reasonable to consider, IMO.

Doesn't matter, it still falls under the County's definition of a Mega event since there are more than 5,000 people.
