    those graphs indicate completely different things. Kavita missed that in her initial tweet and later clarified it. This had nothing to do with the SOTU.

    CDC has been woefully miserable at messaging but calling them out for THIS is idiotic. But given your tweets in this thread, it doesn't surprise me to see you immediately reference supposed political agendas.

    Who legitimate is ignoring anything? The vaccine helps the vast majority of people who would die or be crippled survive with with no long term impacts.

    So when they do eventually catch it they will enjoy the best of both worlds.

    I've had COVID twice now, and I'm fairly certain the reason I went a full two years between infections is natural immunity plus the shots.

    Fun fact: When the covid-19 virus was first discovered no one had natural immunity to it.

    Natural immunity, acquired immunity, and boosting one own's immune system are 3 different things that have been continually conflated.

    Just so we're clear, and since you brought it up, antibody-based treatments are acquired immunity, not natural immunity.

    Acquired immunity can be:

    1. Vaccines
    2. Being exposed to someone who is infected.
    3. Antibody-based treatments.

    I have gotten hoarse saying this, but seat belts, motorcycle helmets and birth control are not perfect but are a hell of a lot better than wishing.
    So are vaccines.
