So we are on the road obviously. Nobody in PHX was wearing mask at all. Here in Minny, kinda half and half. Hotel staff, no. Starbucks next-door yes. Arena workers yes. Going to be interesting when we get home and the mandate is lifted on Saturday. I'm sure alot of businesses will keep it going for awhile.

 

WTF are the Trumpers going to bitch about if the mask mandate is lifted? We must keep it going at all costs. Like the big convoy in DC? What are they even protesting?

 

Biden is president. That's what they protested.

 

I believe the core thing with that is the vaccine mandates

 

Which are ending? So when they all end they can thump their chests like they had literally anything to do with it? Such fucking dumbshits. Go to Ukraine and be tough

 

Are they ending? For going out to eat, yes. For work? Who knows. I think some are still around.

 

All of the mandates around Covid are going to dwindle away as it slows down, which it is, especially going into summer. These idiots are clogging up DC now?

 

The point is that the mandates still exist. I'm not entirely sure who these people are to be honest, it seems like a psy op to me. No one really cares anymore.

Yeah imagine where we’d be if there were no mask or vaccine mandates. Fucked. Or more fucked. I wonder if these people wore seat belts and drove within the speed limits in their DMV registered cars as they trekked across the country. All those other pesky mandates.

Yeah it kinda went away overnight and Ukraine/Putin stepped in to fill the emotional trauma void for Americans. There’s never NOT an existential threat on the horizon that must consume your psyche. When one goes away the next one crops up. There always has to be something to keep us scared and arguing.
