    Walked through the lobby of our hotel here in the ATL today for the first time with no mask in 2 years...... felt surreal.

    Full disclosure: Me and Mrs SPD went up to Fred Meyers in Vancouver and got a 2nd booster 10 days before we went to Mexico. We had the Pfizer vaccines and boosters but we made sure we got the Moderna booster in Vancouver.
    We did not want to get sick with Covid in Mexico since we had such an ambitious adventure planned and because you had to test negative to come back to the USA. Couldn't really do anything about testing positive but if we did, and had to stay an extra 5-10 days in Mexico, we didn't want to be feeling miserable.

    Oregon doesn't share pharmacy records with Washington so we just said we needed a booster.

    I went to Downtown Disney today and maybe 10-20% were masking outdoors still.

    Was in San Diego yesterday, didn't see anyone with a mask on anywhere.

    The only places I’ve seen requesting masks are hospital’s and the airport. Even in the airport there are people that don’t wear the mask right.

    Clinics such as Davita require masks be worn. Something about doctors, nurses and other medical workers knowing their ass from a hole in the ground.

    Pfizer CEO: Fourth shot of COVID vaccine "necessary"


    A fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be necessary in order to maintain manageable levels of hospitalizations and mild infections, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

    Driving the news: While fourth doses are already authorized for some immunocompromised people, NIAID director Anthony Fauci said last month that the possibility of another round of boosters was being "very carefully monitored."

    What they're saying: Bourla said it was possible that COVID-19 boosters could become a yearly occurrence, much like the flu shot.......
