And the vast majority of medical evidence still backs most of those opinions.

No, that's not it. His opinions never mattered, whether or not they agree with me, you, experts, or anyone else. He doesn't have any expertise in the field.

The fact that he was correct then, or now, or never, about any of this is irrelevant. Who he agrees or disagrees with is irrelevant.

His opinions are even less interesting than yours, because, although neither of you have any shred of expertise, at least you post here.

Sounds like paradise except for the oppressive police state squashing any dissenting opinions… but we have that here too so it’s not like these sites make America that much better.

On the other hand, there are a lot of studies that did show a positive affect, and there are a lot of people and clinicians who report it being effective. Trials are often designed to get an answer that those who fund it want. If these off label treatments had be met with an honest curiosity rather than with propaganda, I'd have less reason to be skeptical.

Hydroxychloroquin was the demonized drug. Look at the case study of doctor Tyson and Fareed, they treated their patients with HCQ and had 0 covid deaths, much better results than other patients in the same area. These drugs actually are used as anti-virals.

But what did Fauci push? Super expensive Remdesivir, whichin it's trial against Ebola, more people DIED in the Remdesivir treatment group than placebo.

Sorry. No. Actual medical evidence disputes these claims.

You are ignorant of the evidence. There's a big difference.

I don't believe said evidence exists. Like evidence of the flat earth, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Thanks; since my partners are in town this month, we’ve been extra careful. Seeing a lot more masks around town; it’s not a stigma here y’all, please mask up around strangers.

Masking literally killed a flu strain in 2022. Imagine if we killed even more that way.

Fauci is a peddler of expired drugs for the pharmaceutical industry. Have we forgot all the people he killed with AZT? Or the fact he completely lied about just about every covid-related topic under oath in front of congress?
That’s a rhetorical question, of course we have forgotten!

Imagine it’s the year 2024 and people are still saying stuff like this.

Help me understand why that recommendation is problematic?

I didn’t say it was. I find it more comical than anything. Like wearing water wings on a date, or a helmet to wrap Christmas presents. It’s silly and fun.

When is the last time you have been outside getting fresh air and interacting with educated humans?

OK--so to be clear, are you suggesting that people wearing masks when out in public doesn't have an appreciable impact on reducing the spread of communicable diseases?

All throughout covid homeboy. No lockdowns or face diapers for me. I work out in the fresh air every day running a land survey crew for an engineering firm. Bunch of dumb hicks.

Do you get alot of fresh air and rich intellectual conversations in the replay van?

No, I’m suggesting they look silly and it’s fun for me to gawk at.

Bike helmets look silly too. But sometimes function outweighs fashion.

Seat belts look silly. But if you are dead you don't have to worry about how you look.
