Sounds somewhat akin to Trump letting the Governors handle their respective states' virus needs. Seems like a prudent approach.

 

Sounds more like a cop out on his part to me...if things turn out well, he'll demand credit, if things turn out badly, well, it was the governors' fault,


And it's only "prudent" because Trump doesn't generally make sound decisions, or if he does, it's usually after the horse is out of the barn.

 

Well, in terms of working with the governors, I think he's handling it pretty well. I believe he conducts regular calls and is apprised as to their ongoing situations. That said, each governor is still accountable and, if needed, Trump has no issues calling them out.

He may even give some grace to the Navy ship captain who screwed up. Film @ 11.
