The guy needs a target to distract any negative attention from himself....he's done this his whole life...not surprised.

it's distraction. He needs "enemies" to dangle in front of his red-meat base. That's why he's always yapping about the media. He would likely welcome a fight with several Democratic governors. Those libs again. Meanwhile, everybody would be talking about executive over-reach and constitutional limits rather than focusing on trump's incompetence during this pandemic

You’re right, I wouldn’t. Can you explain how that relates to my statement? Like how does it apply to my analogy.

You compared the virus with driving. A strange analogy, but ok. There is something wrong with the "car". There is a virus out there that could very well kill your family, but you seem to be fine letting them "drive".

If the risk is less than the reward. I mean, yeah... If I knew there is something wrong with the car, I wouldn’t drive it. Just like if I knew for certain the risk of opening the government would kill millions I wouldn’t want the government to open.

That’s why I let my kids go to school, even though there is a risk they catch a virus. If I knew that the school didn’t have policies that lowers the risk of catching a virus, I would take them out of school.

Your words: “I have seen numbers not even close to what you are posting.”

Then when I asked for you to share that data, you said I need to search for it.

I responded in kind. That statement is just an opinion until you can back it up with the data.

sorry, Facts Don’t Care About Your Feelings... :dunno:

Like I said, there is something wrong with the "car" and it's not like you can just go to the mechanic and get this one fixed. There is certain risk. Look at all the deaths in our country while closing down (albeit late) and trying to isolate to stop the spreading.

If we just all went out about our regular lives right now with this virus in full swing, the numbers of the sick and dying would rise exponentially.

Aren't schools closed where your at? Regardless of policies to stop the virus from spreading in schools, your kids cannot be fully protected. You are taking a risk. But, that's your's to take.

If you need help doing a search, ask one of your kids. I'm not here to be your search guru. Go ahead and discount my information. I know it's true and you could find out rather easily with a search, but apparently you're not concerned with the truth. Good luck with that mags. :smiley-hmm:
