I usually like reading the Fox News articles (sensationalism), then find the supporting news. Much like I read left leaning news sources, eliminate all the sensationalism, and find the related links in their story.

    He abandoned public schools.

He didn't bring back manufacturing or stop the shipping out of jobs. More factories have closed since he became president. All of his shit still gets made in China.

That lower presence around the world has made us weaker and our enemies stronger. We had a foot hold and we let it go.

Not to mention we have alienated our allies

Border security? You mean the few miles of wall that got built and people cut through with saws? Great security.

But yet you blamed Obama for not getting much passed in the 2nd term and didn't blame McConnel. Why is that?

You need congress for most the policies. And yes, he did bring back manufacturing jobs. I posted the jobs reports.

Nothing wrong with any of those. My last car was a Toyota. The new one might be too.

I was salty! He had a super majority his first term. He could’ve gotten so many things passed. That First Step Act could of been his, but he was too focused on ObamaCare. That was his undoing.

It pains me to say it but Fox is a million times better than the rest of them. The problem is that a million times .000001 isn't good.

Hannity and Lemon and shit like that should be on a completely different channel. It is natural that people want their news to align with what their millionaire commentators are saying. If they were wrong all the time why pay them?

Problem with his bringing in jobs is that wages have remained very stagnant and the republicans refuse to raise minimum wage leaving many people struggling and unable to afford a home.

If you need a good car for transportation and that is your main goal there is no other choice.

If you can work on your own car you can pick something you like the looks of or has more features.

I agree with your disdain for the few corporations that control everything. It might even be down to 4 now. GE is a big one.

I’m not sure I agree with that (wages remain stagnant). Before this virus, wage increase was the highest improvement for decades for the lower and middle class. I’ll try and find the supporting links later. I also think the federal government shouldn’t be dictating the min wages for states. $15/hour is nothing in SoCal or New York, but it’s a big deal in Arkansas.

I think state governments should be setting up those policies. In fact, I think going even more local is better. Like Seattle raising the min wage because that area has more wealth to afford it.

You're putting words in my mouth today, and you're better than that too. I said absolutely nothing about FDA approved drugs causing causing unforeseen issues, instead, I pointed to using that as a comparison was not a good one.

And there have been FDA approved drugs that have also been VERY effective and saved countless lives, no?

Liking Trump isn’t like liking Pepsi vs Coke though. I’m sure it was just in jest but that’s the thing. This a a significant decision, to support a terrible human being with 7 brain cells who incites hatred and violence is different creamy or crunchy peanut butter. You are who you surround yourself with. So if you take that to politics, it’s why so many people feel like @hcp. To me it’s not a whole lot different then saying “he’s been my friend since high school but now he is really into the KKK but hey he’s my boy”. Now before everyone gets their panties in a bunch again, sure the KKK is the worst and Trump doesn’t openly say he’s pro KKK but once again, everyone in the KKK loves him so, there’s that. He doesn’t exactly hate the KKK does he?

Yes of course! And it’s not putting words in your mouth. Adding a question mark isn’t putting words in your mouth. I’m asking you a question.

the FDA is part of the federal government. Their decisions effect and risk lives, regardless on how strict and stringent they are. Lives are still at risk.

And that is false as he was also digging us out of a deep recession and got the country turned around and heading in the right direction.

You should read this article and you can see why your above statement isn't really true.

States have the right to increase it more but a $7.95 federal min wage is a joke

Washington Post put together a good timeline on the Trump and KKK thing.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...1/donald-trump-and-david-duke-for-the-record/

And every side has extreme groups. The left currently has Antifa. The right has the crazy Alt-right. They are very small factions of the political spectrum.

The issue with wages being raised, is that it is an incremental raise over a period of years and not an immediate one. By the time the full wage raise has finally arrived, inflation has made it inconsequential.

yes, I know the guy is scum. But that’s the thing. He caters to the masses of uneducated voters who for the most part are apolitical and think that’s its more American and Patriotic no matter who. As long as it’s a Republican

kudos to the Republican Party who have given off this sentiment to the majority of uneducated and thoughtless people that voting for their party means they’re as American as apple pie.

I think the KKK things is a lot more extreme than my peanut butter analogy.

because the majority of people I come across or know that are Trump supporters. Are either apolitical and feel it’s some kind of patriotic duty to vote republican, or they’re religious fanatics who believe that abortion/anti vaxx bullshit is their guide to every decision they make

Obama had a recovery out of recession. Trump also boosted that recovery during his first term. Fuck, are you gonna make me find links on how deregulation was like jet fuel for the economy?
