Sorry, but there weren't 60 thousand dead and counting from the swine flu. Nobody geared up at the hospitals for the swine flu unless you want to count all the encouragement to get a flu shot.
Right now, my health care team is wearing masks and gloves. They are also mandating strict distancing from other patients. They never felt compelled do this during the swine flu.
I never feared death from the swine flu.
I mean that's like comparing a mouse to an elephant.

I was comparing that both Administrations dealt with pandemics. Glad you admit the Trump Administration has a much scarier, more deadly and required way more focus than the “soft ball swine flu.”

has failed to handle the Covid19 virus. The U.S. with 5% of the world's population has 25% of the Covid19 deaths. We have a lower testing rate than the successful countries like China, S. Korea, Canada and a host of European countries. We're headed for over 100 thousand deaths with no end in sight.
Do you remember when the Trump administration was telling us that this was no big deal?
12,000 deaths from the Swine flu in 2009-2010. We've just scratched the surface of deaths from Covid19 in what, the last month?

Nope. In South Korea anyone who wants a test can get one for free anytime. They have drive thru testing all over the country. I have a sister-in-law over there who's been tested many times. Her only risk factor is her age.
I have 8 risk factors including my age and they refuse to test me. I'm in the hospital a minimum of three times a week. Counting tomorrow I will have been in the hospital four times seeing a doctor. Never been allowed a Covid19 test.
