...the picture had nothing to do with what we were discussing which was about "re-openers" marching with weapons...you posted an irrelevant and old black panthers picture.

...but it's OK, you're still my hero.

you might not want to hear about bias, but that foundation is definitely a right-wing organization with a heavy libertarian slant.

as for the two doctors featured in the article....you should really do a little google investigation of them. I just did and it's more than enough to create a lot of skepticism about what they say and the agenda behind their words. They have been substantially discredited in their Covid statements about infection rates and the conclusions they drew from them.

yeah, that's some kill the messenger stuff you probably don't like, but at a time when there's a giant push to open the economy back up, there's also a lot of propaganda being pumped out about data; and in this case, its part of a fog that says some people in health care are so corrupt they are lying about the data. That's a pretty serious charge, and it needs to be vetted by somebody other than those two doctors and that right-wing think tank

that said, I'm not naive enough to ignore the possible motivation of re-imbursement differentials that hospital administrators might be looking at. At the same time, maybe that's a way to inject more money into strapped and over-burdened hospitals since the R's in congress still seemed hellbent to give more to corporations and less to health care. Maybe that's a simple way to offset the exorbitant cost of PPE that hospitals are absorbing right now, in part, because the Feds are not only not helping, but stealing supplies from hospitals and states and being a player in driving up the costs

that there could be inaccurate counts of cases and deaths is entirely possible. There's a lot of chaos right now. But again, to say any possible inaccuracies are due to deliberate and corrupt intent needs proof. My bet would be if the mortality count is inaccurate, it's off on the low side. You might ask yourself why it is that Florida has silenced all the local medical examiners and coroners after their numbers came in much higher than the 'official' state numbers. Why is it that trump is preventing Fauci & Birx and other members of the task force from testifying in the House. I've also read that several states have been extremely slow to tabulate nursing home cases and deaths to this point in time

Thanks for your thoughts. The reimbursement variances seemed huge.

Man, Trump needs to shut up.

Could the testing numbers be in line with capita? Gee. I dont know.....

    Germany - 83 million people

    Italy - 60 Million people

    France - 67 Million People

    Canada - 38 Million

    USA - 328 Million

We SHOULD be kicking their asses in total testing.

Report: US males, aged 15-95, take sudden unexplained interest in White House press briefings

Nashville, TN - According to ratings reports, today's White House press briefing, featuring Trump's new press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, garnered a record number of viewers among U.S. males aged 15 to 95.

James Burton, from the National Ratings Commission, told reporters, "We are still analyzing the data, but it is very clear that the U.S. males of a wide age range have taken a sudden unexplained interest in these White House briefings compared to when President Trump delivers them."

A deep dive into the report shows that there is no significant difference whether the viewers are Republican or Democrat, but it does show a slightly larger number of single viewers vs. married viewers.

The Trump administration says the ratings are a testament to the important information Trump provides for these briefings and they are happy to see that both liberal and conservative males finally agree on something.

She is pretty hot. I think Hallie Jackson is hot too, but the dripping nose event imagery always haunts me now.

Hard to say for sure. I suppose it depends on the wave and how it spread. If we were one of the last countries to have it invade, then we would naturally be behind the other countries regarding the timeline. Or we could have started testing too early and been provided a false sense of security based on potential low percentages due to the Virus not having moved as far across our country yet.

    Lots of variables.

I just wish Trump would get back to economic and foreign affairs and let the states and medical professionals deal with this.
