    Why are people using a double negative to express that they think protests caused the spike?

    Also, if protests caused the spike, wouldn't the spike correlate well with where there were the most protests? I don't think it does.

    Eh I think that is up for debate. Obviously the President is an issue, but take him out of the equation and i'm not sure Red states are handling any worse than Blue?

    Cases are rising dramatically in red states who threw precautions to the winds while cases are going down most blue states.

    Shocking that the surges are in the most populous parts of the state. That's deeply insightful. Maybe the surges in the cities of red states are worse than the surges in the cities in blue states due to how the governors have actually chosen to handle it.
