Trump's proposed budget not only cuts Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, it also drastically cuts funds for CDC and WHO>

Those antiseptic wipes stores are running out of? They are terrible for environment, going right into landfill, and heavily perfumed. If you have respiratory irritation perfume worsens it. Very effective sanitizer: 10% bleach in a plastic spray bottle, but bleach can also be irritating. So to disinfect surfaces in a non-irritating environmentally friendly low cost fashion, fill one spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide and another with 50% white vinegar, the kind sold in gallon jugs, and 50% tap water. Spray one on a surface, the order doesn't matter, wait five minutes, spray the other, wait five minutes, wipe with cloth. You can wash the cloth with your laundry.

He's not going to do anything and then blame the Dems for it.

This is the strangest graph I’ve ever seen. There is literally no data, it’s just a picture that explains the sentence “taking protective measures could keep the healthcare system from going over capacity”. I’ve never seen a sentence turned into a graph before. It looks kind of baloney-ish, I have to admit. I would expect a little more scientifically backed data coming out of the CDC, but hey, if it gets people to wash their hands then fine.

Or he’ll do something and the Dems will blame him for it. Blame is the new substitute for policy work and compromise. I’m independent because both policy parties are total shit shows.

It’s an illustration, not an actual graph. It’s showing that if we’re going to have however many million cases in this country, if they all happen at once the medical system falls apart. If you can stretch the time frame out, we can stay within capacity.

I've seen multiple versions of the graph on the internets in the last couple of days. If I see one with better data I will post it.

    It does explain this story:

This is the coronavirus math that has experts so worried: Running out of ventilators, hospital beds

I understand what the illustration shows. It just seems like overkill to make something appear as a graph with no actual data. It just explains a very basic idea, which you explained in words above. Not really knocking it, I’ve just never seen an extremely basic idea put forth in a graph that is probably more confusing than the idea itself. Like I said though, if it gets a few more people to follow protocols then good.
