Yeah, half of then canceled. I told them there was no pressure to go. We are all vaccinated and we will mask up indoors, as required.

 

I don't give a shit what the CDC is doing or not doing...the information is available for all on the planet to figure out what we need to do to cull this shit....just talk with first responders and medical professionals and they all say the same thing ...it's not a mystery..it's not political

I encourage all to get vaccinated. The information is out there and people should make their own informed decision.

You won't see me advocating people to be forced to get the jab though.

Wedding is in October. Depends on the state of things, but as of right now, no. We will provide masks and sanitizer. Reception is in an open air rooftop.

 

Nobody is going to stand for that. This is a fucking pandemic. You want more freedom, sooner? Advocate that more people get vaccinated and policies which will encourage them to do so.

 

Then don't advocate for it. But please stop posting bullshit reasons for people not to. There is no legitimate reason not to vaccinate except for the very rare individuals who have received different advice from their doctor.

 

Forcing someone to get vaccinated or requiring movement passports isn't the way.

 

What bullshit reason? I am not posting "bullshit reasons" not to get vaccinated. I am simply saying that I am against forced vaccinations and government mandated vaccine passports. I am also saying that whether or not you get vaccinated should be up to you. I've also mentioned that vaccinated persons can get and spread covid. Also stating that it appears to me, that the efficiency of the vaccines were oversold to us.

Nothing earth-shattering about that.

 

Has anybody advocated for a government mandated passport? I have advocated for government to support businesses who want to verify vaccination status so they can ensure the unvaccinated mask at their location.

 

Nobody has suggested movement passports.

 

I believe several posters in this thread are in support of movement restrictions on the unvaccinated.

I don't think so. Perhaps that's where the miscommunication is coming from.

It should be as simple for vaccinated people to live a normal life, so that the most people possible are encouraged to become vaccinated. Including financially rewarding vaccinated people. This should be a significant reward to ensure as many vaccinations as possible ASAP.

We should enable everyone to easily identify the unvaccinated so that they can take proper precautions around them.

This should include financially supporting businesses as needed to hire security, screener, and buy bracelets and masks.

None of these are government mandates, just policies to encourage healthy behavior.
