Could the players of the past compete with the players of today?

    Haha, I doubt that, but Larry would probably school any player in the leauge right now, probably except KG and Timmy.

    KG and Duncan are exceptionally good, best in the league right now for sure. But they wouldn't beat Larry Legend. He would score right over their heads, outdribble them, outsmart them. KG, I think, would be closer than Duncan. They're both great players, historically great two-way players, but Bird had a way of playing like the ball was meant to be in his hands, and the basket just slid right under his shots. It was mesmerizing. He could take anybody.

    I dont think there are to many players that could play against any players in the past except KG and Tim Duncan

    If you watch footage from the mid 80s, the players had smaller frames than today. The center would be 7 feet but look like a twig. If you see old footage of Jordan, he would smoke by the guards and dunk it right through the middle. This wouldn't happen today, because everyone has great athleticism and have way more muscle. The old cats would get pounded on, and would have been eating the new school guys' dust. The old school ballers would score faster since everyone had a great mid range shot and great team chemistry. It would be an even match, but the new school would be victorious.
