Countdown to bags over head fan base in MSG

Things are working out perfectly for the Knicks. Melo will shut it down now and rest for next season. We will get a top 3 or 4 pick in a very deep draft worst case. And we will have a ton of cap space.

Not sure we could ask for anything more. I rather be flat out awful and get a top 3 pick than slip in as the 7 or 8 seed just to get whipped in the 1st round. This is the way you win in the NBA...be REALLY bad and get a top 3 pick. Not like hockey where lower seeded teams have shots. In the NBA either you have the top end star or you don't win titles.

This season is perfect from my POV.

 

I trust Phil will rebuild this garbage organization. Just give him a few years.

 

knicks 5-31, philly(the edmonton of the nba with 4-28, minnesota 5-27 and no one else less than 10 wins. Need that kid okafor with the first pick. otherwise choosing between a 6'5"point guard whose talented but played against chinese competition this past year or a variety of 7 footers. Need to put a picture of DeB on the knicks podium when the cards are pulled to get that first pick magic.
