it's on 6-8. I started at about 650. They gave a few hints that Roy might show up in time for L*kers.

News? hmmm ... Jeeyay Allen exaggerates, Micheal Holton tolerates, and Harlow (apparently) titillates

They had a little contest and the winner got a 25$ gift certificate for Typhoon. That reminds me of how wheels "gives" a 50$ gift certificate to his end of game player guest. Does anyone else think this is so funny Typhoon desperately wants Blazers at their restaurant?

I just learned that fast-break layups count as points in the paint. Personally, I think that is an erroneous stat. In other words, fast break points should be recorded separately from defended shots in the paint.

Just an FYI, off from work with an injury and caught the "Softy" show on CSN today. Roy did a 10 minute interview with Fluffy or whatever the hell his name is and said that indeed he's aiming for the Laker game as his first game back. Said that he thinks Thursday will still be to soon because Nate would like him to have a practice in with the team before allowing him to play.

...All things considered was a really nice interview, why doesn't Portland radio do more interviews with Brandon?

Uh no... Sometimes fast break points are contested. Sometimes points in the paint which are scored in the half-court aren't. We've got too many stats as it is, let's not go dividing points in the paint based on how contested someone thinks each shot is.

Right. Give me less data! Less data, please! Less data - I can't think, with all this information. How am I supposed to cling stubbornly to my poorly researched opinion with all this data coming in...?

    !!

    Woah.

I think everyone is more than capable of making informed decisions without arbitrarily dividing points in the paint by whether or not they think they were contested. We have fast-break points. We have points in the paint. I think we'll live.

That said, I don't wish to trample on your dreams. If you work hard enough, you can make this new stat work. Go change the world baby.
