Yup, the easier stretch is over, and we did an AWESOME job piling up the points, now the brutal stretch starts with a game at Philly Saturday night. 6 very tough games with 5 on the road. We do well over this stretch and we'll finish 1st for sure. And hopefully Sather gets us an extra player or 2 by Monday to help during this stretch. Let the fun begin.

Being outplayed most of the game [ losing 43 of 68 FO, being outchecked,
shoddy D ], this team dug in and won a game that was labeled a loss for most
of the game. 2 POINTS. Move on.

Greyv, I did not think they would win 9 of 12, and 20 pts out of 24.
    ( I was hoping for 6/7 wins).
Big accomplishment for this Ranger team......with their back up goaler.

I don't consider Philly tough other than being a rival. They're stupid for the most part as always.

The game is National TV. They'll be up for this game. Did you think
Zona would outplay Rangers last night? Besides, I did not call
    them 'tough'. 71, please disregard.

Speaking of 'tough'...............hope Sather finds some tough
    hockey players.

That's not that tough of a stretch. Rangers own Philly beyond belief. Chicago is not nearly as tough without Kane who is their best player. Buffalo blows. Florida doesn't 'match up well with the Rangers at all. Rangers usually shut Ovie down. Rangers also play well against Detroit. I was surprised how they played the last time they went at it. There is no reason they shouldn't get at least 10 points of those games.

We'll agree to disagree on that one dump. I focus on the next 6 (forget Buff and Florida). 5 are on the road. At Philly will be tough (primetime on NBC still battling for a playoff spot). Nashville has most points in he NHL. Then 4 very tough road games (Hawks still tough without Kane). So I disagree. I do think that is a very tough 6 game stretch. If we come away with 6 points I would be fine with that.
