It appears that he's on the floor 75% of the time. I'd rather have a solid/good player for 75% of the season than a trash player for 100% of the season. Harkless won't ever have injury problems because he doesn't play hard enough.
As long as it's the last 75% of the season/Playoffs. Losing in the post season because our starters are hurt is just as bad as barely making it in and losing with the team we have now. At least the end result is as bad. Favors..... if healthy would be a good fit. I have always loved his game.
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2017/12/8/16751428/nba-trades-2017-season-nfl-week-14 A few Blazers trades from Simmons. PORTLAND GETS: Marc Gasol ($22.6, exp. 2020/player option) MEMPHIS GETS: Jusuf Nurkic ($2.9m), Zach Collins ($3.1m, 2021 RFA), Ed Davis ($6.3m), Mo Harkless ($10.2m, exp. 2020), Portland’s 2018 first-round pick PHILLY GETS: C.J. McCollum ($23.9m, exp. 2021) PORTLAND GETS: Markelle Fultz ($7.0m, RFA 2021), Amir Johnson ($11m), Philly’s 2018 first-round pick PHILLY GETS: CJ McCollum ($23.9m, exp. 2021) PORTLAND GETS: Markelle Fultz ($7.0m, RFA 2021), Amir Johnson ($11.0m), Dario Saric (2.4m, exp. 2020)
Is that why we keep rotating them? Vonleh and Mirotic. Aminu moves back to SF. The rest don’t matter.
Retarded Retarded Less Retarded but still retarded Why the fuck we we give away our entire future for Marc Gasol? WTF...? Nurk, Collins, and a 1st? So that we can still lose in the 1st round? Trade CJ for a possible bust in Fultz who will hopefully be as good as CJ and a ~20th pick or Saric? Simmons is a dumbass and his trade ideas are stupid.
Why the hell would Boston do that? Brown is possible just as good as CJ, is younger, and has more potential. And then they give up their starting C who's been killin it? Why would they do that when they're the best team in the league? Smh...
I would do CJ for Fultz, Saric and a pick in a heartbeat. I'd probably even do CJ for Saric, 76ers unprotected 2018 first round pick and Lakers/Kings pick too - the Lakers pick will convey this year and will probably come around 10-12. Sixers pick should come around 20, and our own will probably come around 8-10 if we sell CJ too. Hindsight is a beautiful thing but we should have got Donovan Mitchell. Such a perfect player for us.
So is Collins if he develops properly. And I’d argue that a two way big is more valuable than a guard. The one that really hurts is Swanigan over Kuzma.
I don't really want Redick, he would make salaries match but has a one year deal and if we trade CJ the intention isn't to win now.
Because he won't be able to stomach the fact that we traded CJ? Because in terms of being able to compete it doesn't necessarily make us worse.
