Fair point, but then it's more like jingoism than it is racism, right?

Hell, even the "Muslim" travel ban isn't racist...unless it's against Hispanics (Catholic Venezuela), North Koreans (Juche), Aryans (Muslim Iran), Arabs (Yemen, Somalia), Berber (Muslim Libya), North-Central African (Muslim/Catholic Chad). Misguided and not doing what you thought it would do? Maybe. Unpopular home and abroad? Probably can be debated pretty hard either way. Racist? I don't know how you can say that.

exaggerated presidential blanket stereotypes …..people can say anything these days because the president can say anything these days.....they know if they're wrong they can walk it back and pretend they were right in the first place....led by example...according to him millions of Hispanics are murdering rapists and bad hombres but Norwegians are welcome here. Start there

    Huh?!?

    You asked a question:

    And I answered.

You didn't say anything about racism in your question and I didn't say anything about racism in my reply.

Not sure why you're trying to put a racism slant to my reply.

And besides, I'm a speciesest, not a racist.

Internet translation error. I should have said "I don't see how one could say that." I was referring to the OP, not what you'd written. That got the "fair point" bullet.

Do you write this tripe yourself, or do you pay cut rate for it?

    The Manchurian candidate strikes again!

See also the great book by Nelson DeMille, Charm School:

"On a dark road deep inside the Russian woods, a young American tourist picks up an unusual passenger with an explosive secret: an U.S. POW on the run from "The Charm School," a sinister operation where American POWs teach young KBG agents how to be model U.S. citizens...."

He's using undocumented/illegal immigrants as a scare tactic, but was perfectly fine hiring them back in the day. You seem to be fine with paying people lower wages than the going rate for jobs, when in most cases, the people who are willing to work for less than their market share/value, are immigrants, many of them "undocumented/illegal".

And unless I'm wrong, you seem to be against them being in the country.

For full disclosure, the equivalent pay today would be about 13 dollars an hour. I did a quick google search (limited in scope due to the kind of job) and the average salary of those is about 12 bucks an hour in todays market. The current (federal) MW is just around 7.25 bucks an hour. It'd be more depending on which state you live in. Oregon for example would be 10.25.

You seem to want it both ways.
