Tried to trade the #3 but no one was offering decent value. not hard to believe at all he was trying with the tools he had left to work with. The main issues i see is what details did Joe and Dame discuss regarding timelines. If Joe made promises behind closed doors, then Dame is within rights to feel betrayed. But the reality is , neither Joe is stupid enough to commit and Dame isn't gullible enough to believe such a commitment with specific timeline deadlines. You cant. The nba revolves too quickly. In the end Joe was slower than what Dame wanted is all. I think Joe thought he had another year. I think Dame thought this would be the year.
