Like I said last year the Spurs are a different animal in the playoffs. I'd like the Blazers to avoid them if possible... Honestly this year there are two teams I hope the Blazers can avoid. Memphis and San Antonio. I would like the Blazers to get to the second seed because HCA is going to play a role this year. But with Memphis going for 60 I don't know if it's possible. I'd rather the Blazers be in the same bracket as the Warriors... Than Memphis though.
I remember a few years ago back in the Roy era we wanted to play Phoenix because they looked weak then they beat us to go to the WCF. Next year we wanted to avoid the defending champ Lakers and play the Mavs. Then the Mavs easily swept the overrated Lakers.
