Seriously bro? Why do people give up on players so quick? Any answer is wrong, but feel free to give a poor reason why lol. It makes no sense to give up on a player BEFORE THANKSGIVING OF THE FIRST YEAR THEY ARE IN THE LEAGUE BEFORE THE AGE OF 20.

    I'll never understand it.

People who were staunch Scoot supporters are suddenly saying he's injury prone. Others are saying that he had not mindboggling stats as everyone on the board seemed to say, but banal stats against the G-League. People also said he ended on a series of poor games in the G-League. My question is, if this was known why was basically no one but perhaps Predator based on his signature mentioning this? If there are doubts about a guy who is 6'2" draft one of the 6'9" to 6'5" guys that were drafted after him. I'm saying where the FUCK was all this negative info that was seemingly witheld by folks before the draft that apparently everyone knew (except me I didn't look as I assumed the pick would be traded)? I haven't "given up" but now that its being revealed he's injury prone and already missing games EARLY in his career, that's a very concerning sign, and that's not even getting into his play. I haven't given up, but hearing he has injury concerns after an injury leading to a month's absence shouldn't be something that is glossed over. Remember Oden was young too!

No offense Rasta, but your general negativity caused me to not put a lot of stock into either you or Predator at the time. I am aware a small minority were saying it. What I find a bit shocking is guys like NateBishop suddenly revealing that they knew Scoot had an injury history that was significant. I'm appalled that we seem to have drafted a small guy with an injury history who is already missing several to a dozen games when apparently there were some red flags about his health. Ultimately its my fault for being lazy, I'm just a bit horrified to find out Scoot has an injury history which is already turning into actual injuries where a not insignificant amount of games are being missed. Also, Billups needs to stop running players into the ground, or we need to fire Billups.

And now you know better. Or would do, if you were capable of learning. No offense.

I knew he was oft injured, had sucky numbers in the Gleague, and was "undersized." Had Brandon Miller with the second pick. Even despite Ausars early success, Scoot has "it." And that's something worth taking a big swing on. Time will tell if it's a home run, triple or even a single. Best buckle up and try to enjoy the ride. Dame Lillard is not coming back anytime soon.

I think we were really hoping Brandon Miller would fall to us... I was. That would change everything.

But I think you had to take Scoot if he's there.

He has been injured a lot. That’s not an opinion. That’s a fact.

He missed time last year. He got hurt in summer league after one half. He made it 5 games into the regular season. I’m gonna want to see him play a sizeable chunk of games before I’m confident that he’s not injury prone.

I'm capable of learning. Are you capable of posting anything other than negative against the team and/or posters? Offense intended this time, just like yours.

The problem is that they’re flukey injuries, but some dudes are just inherently unlucky. See Oden, Greg.

I don’t consider all these injury prone type injuries. Yes there are some guys who are built out of glass but I feel this is rare. Injury prone to me means constant same injury to the same limb and or joint or whatever. Shoulder injury was weird but I bet blazers were just being overly cautious. This current injury he legit had a 200+ human tackle his ankle damn near. That will take out most anyone. Injuries happen but this doesn’t scream injury prone.

I think people are over reacting a ton. Over it all. Him being injury prone, a bust, whatever. It’s been what 9 games into his first season at 19? Give me a break. More importantly give scoot a fucking break. These dudes while professional athletes are humans too. He will find his way he just needs more than a month in the fucking league. Jesus.

I was preaching the downside of the pick and that people should he prepared to be patient with him the whole time. It's also part of the reason why I wanted to take a swing with Dame by trading the pick.

The problem is that too many NBA experts were saying things like “NBA ready” and “generational talent” so people had really high hopes right out of the gate.
