Ever since the NY game, Portland has been dissapointing. Lost 2 of the last 3, and NY and WAshington we were so lethargic on the court, started out slow and had to battle back verse teams that aren't very good. Boston we got pounded, and Toronto we started flat and won one at the last second, and then got a taste of our own medicine last night vs. Orlando at the buzzer. Oh well... something funny i noticed. The hornets have played a total of 18 games, and the blazers have played 15 ROAD games, lol! oh well, it will start evening out. We need a really strong homestand... We have already lost 2-3 games we feel we should have won... OK i'm done venting. Hopefully this team will wake up.
Cavaliers are ridiculous. They're already on the verge of usurping the top spot from the Celtics. They are just playing dominating ball right now. That means Boston is really great, if they're still above the Cavs. Lakers look so mortal compared to the godly Eastern super powers.
http://dabullz.com/2008/12/12/dabullzcom-power-rankings-12-12-08/ Celtics opened up a massive lead on Cleveland now. Simply amazing. Lakers are lagging way behind.
Not if they lose before the Cavs lose again! But Celtics have a decent chance of remaining on top and staying on top. A few days ago, the Cavaliers got close, within like .2 of the Celtics, then Celtics had a monster game, and reopened up the gap, and now have quite a sizeable gap, since individual games are starting to mean less and less. Celtics and Cavaliers are playing extraordinary ball right now though, it's hard to say which will lose first.
^ After I wrote that, I checked the scores on ESPN and saw that the Hawks beat the Cavs 97-92. Now definitely the Celtics are THE best team in the league.
http://dabullz.com/2008/12/16/dabullzcom-power-rankings-12-16-08/ Hopefully the Bulls can pass up the Heat tonight.
