Hawks 13th??? 16 teams make the playoffs, and you're saying the Hawks are in the bottom half of those 16 teams?
Movin up! But I like NBA.com's better, we're at 24!!! It's truly sad to be happy about being in the top 25, but that's just the way it is.
http://dabullz.com/2009/01/08/dabullzcom-power-rankings-01-08-09/ Cavs a favorite by over a point now. Celtics are really lagging behind the Cavs/Lakers, and the Magic are closing on the Celtics. Cavs right now have the best record, best offense, and best defense in the league.

Lakers should be #1 in your rankings. Cleveland has been impressive at home, but they aren't dominating teams on the road yet. Not to mention they recently lost to the worst team in the East, the Wizards.
It's hard to make a case for the Lakers to be at #1. Being a bit better road team is all that the Lakers have on the Cavs. The Cavs are currently the best team record wise (tied with the Lakers), best offensive team (tied with the Lakers), best defensive team (Give up 4.3 points less than the Lakers per 100 posessions!). When a team is the best offensive and defensive team in the league like the Cavs currently are, it's hard to argue against them.
The Cavs only quality road win was against the Nuggets. The other quality teams they've played on the road against they've lost to at Boston, at Detroit, at New Orleans, at Atlanta and at Miami. Lakers have won at Phoenix, and at New Orleans twice. I give the Lakers a slight edge.
We need an update. Not because I want to see where the Blazers are improperly ranked . . . but I want to see what happens to the Bulls when they get blown out at home by the lowly ranked Blazers.
