    But their not, their not even the defending champs. Boston is #1 until beaten in the Playoff's. BTW The first half of the Laker's schedule was cake this year.

    Are you factoring pace in your offensive and defensive ratings? Lakers actually rank #7 in defense when you adjust for the pace they play at. Lakers are also #1 in offense.

    Lakers might have had a "cake" schedule to begin the season, but they still had to win those games. They've also been the top team in the league in back to back games and are the best road team in the league.

    Also keep in mind the Lakers usually face an opponents A game on most nights because they are the Lakers. Teams usually have extra motivation to face the Lakers and use them as the measuring stick.

    Uh, you obviously dont understand the process of power rankings if that is your actual opinion. Do you also realize since that "cake" schedule the Lakers now own the best road record in the NBA at 22-6?

    There are some AP reports that say only 4-6 weeks. The break wasn't a bad one. Either way, the Cavs aren't winning shit this year and they shouldn't miss him that much.
