    I'm so jealous.
My wife and I were unable to ever have a baby and know we would have been great parents. My father taught me well.
Now, we have to be satisfied with bragging about our nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephew which we love to do.

Do you drink a lot of coffee or take a lot of aspirin? Either habit can lead to more baby girls than boys.

Luckily, by the time we're both back to work, I think we'll have it covered. I have weekends off, she has Friday-Saturday. That covers all three of those days for at least one person to be here. The other four days will likely be split between our moms. I'd love to avoid daycare for now.

No, not really. But I do like to read/lurk more than post, so.....

Anyway, it's been a fantastic eight days now. We have him on a good eat/diaper/sleep routine. We have a Hatch white noise machine, that I think really helps, on the "tumbling dryer" setting to mimic being in the womb. No health issues at his first pediatric appointment; he just has trouble latching when breastfeeding, which happens regularly with preemies. Takes the bottles like a champ, though....and his diaper output is proof. He went from 8 lbs at birth to 7.41 when we left the hospital, and was back up to 7.48 after two days. I'll be curious to see where he's at for his next appointment in another week.
