Marang has stayed pretty logical during all this... and he's a huge Dame homer.

But he's steadfast that Miami's offer is horrible. He's not at all carrying the water with Haynes right now.

I hope Cronin waits until the trade deadline.
There are a lot of teams that feel good about themselves now that will fall short of expectations.

This interview with Marang is really not that bad. It's worth a listen. It's 24 minutes.

Marang isn't logical, he's a leech. He's a poor excuse for any journalism.

Did I tell you how he went at me in the media room at MODA during a game because of what I posted about him on here?

Listen to that interview. I don't think he said anything that I disagree with.

The big issue is whether you believe he has any sources at all.

He's connected but I think he exaggerates his role with those connections...he does get interviews with league wide media staples and has interviewed Joe once or twice. I don't think he's probably on Dame's speed dial like he alludes to but clearly he's a guy who loves the sound of his own voice. I filter what he says with my own caution meter but I think when he's talking with out of market guys in the media...he tends to trim it down and tone down the bluster a bit. In market he is the loudest guy in the room.

this is what i've been saying,
there will be teams who by the deadline think they are a dame away from wining it all
    and will offer more,
just like phoenix did for KD last deadline

It's not true. Torey is why I started watching the show in the first place. I already knew who Torey was from this forum and so I started watching it back when they first started. I like both of them. They can both irritate me, but I still like and appreciate them both.

Orlando and Houston think they're in the playoffs. So does Indiana. Toronto doesn't seem to want to do anything.
Then there are the Pistons and the Wizards. Both tired of being irrelevant.

He deserves no airtime. Even if I agree with him hes a waste of time to listen to.

I like to try to remind myself that the first piece we get in a Dame trade is Scoot.

I was hoping he would do that at least until the trade deadline to see how it works out.
Scoot is a much better pairing with Dame than CJ or Simons.

I think it's possible that he takes other things that people report and then acts like he knew about it.

That's actually a really common move by people in the media.

I agree with this. What's Dame role gonna be in Miami? Can he live with not being number one? I guess he could be number one but who knows. I think he could co-exist with Scoot.
