Marang's comparing Miami's offer to a Pu pu platter was unnecessary. What did the Pu pu platter do to him (and others)? Bad food poisoning?
Drinks good, food awful. Pu pu platter was poo poo Tripadvisor https://www.tripadvisor.com › ... › The Polynesian The space was really nice, staff friendly, drinks potent and the food awful. I was excited about the pu pu platter. Ribs had a bad flavor (like dirty dish water) springrolls like a Costco frozen app, crab Rangoon was a spicy cream cheese filled greasy triangle and the coconut shrimp were tiny and unidentifiable from all of the breading. So much potential but horrible food. You need something to go with the strong drinks.
I feel bad for Sprague. You can tell his ears hurt listening to a harping Blazer bully who's microphone is jacked up double volume, so people might think what Marang is blabbing about is better information.
Actually very well surprisingly. He did a screen grab of my post on here stating how he has no sources and he is the LAST person anybody should read if they are looking for inside info. He tweeted it calling me out, saying something like, “People love talking shit on message boards” or something to that affect. He deleted it by morning. Then the next day in the media room called me out and actually got in my face. My response was, “Who are you again?” HA! Then he started talking shit, blah blah blah. I looked at him and said we all have a right to our opinion and how I was surprised people would actually listen to HIS. That was about it. My boss was standing right there and commended me on how mature I had handled myself. Said he was waiting for me to go off. HA!
Scoot, Simons, Sharpe, and Herro would obviously be too many guards. I am sure no one expects great things next year anyways, if the trade did go down with Tyler coming to Portland, maybe we let Simons and Herro audition for a year. See who to keep and who to trade. Much like if we kept Dame, Sharpe would have to play SF for a while. The defense and rebounding would be horrible but offensively they might be fun to watch. Although I would bet some sort of trade would occur before the season starts. If we end up with JJjr and Murray and Little and Rupert and Thybulle.....that is too many backup SFs. Add 1 or 2 of them along with Herro for a starting forward?
I wonder how much Embiid is messing with the market. I think it's crazy how Philly isn't going hard after Dame to keep Embiid happy.
I love me some Danny Marang, but it wouldn't surprise me if this is a case of a rumor being repeated after it's run its course. I remember hearing that rumor before the draft, specifically that they were interested in trading him for a good wing. The Cavs did get Max Strus in free agency. Not that he's the missing p8ece thats gonna win them a championship, but he may give them the depth they needed such that they're no longer interested in trading a big man for a wing.
would you trade Scoot and 1st rounders for Embiid and keep Dame? I’m going to have to be honest I’d have to seriously consider it. Tough because I’m excited for the Scoot/Sharpe and even Simons era Dame, Embiid and Grant is nice start to championship contending team.
Just to match his salary you would need a lot more than Scoot. Probably Scoot, Simons, and Nurk. Plus picks.
https://hoopshype.com/rumor/2203270/ There is no market for Harden. If there were, he would be gone already, either via free agency (again, Harden opted in) or trade. For weeks Sixers officials have been canvassing the NBA for a satisfactory offer. It isn’t there. The Clippers, Harden’s preferred destination, are interested. But not, it seems, at the cost of Terance Mann and what’s left of their first-round draft capital.
What assets do they have available? Harden -> Do not want. Maxey -> Don't need a PG Tobias Harris? -> Decent 'filler' but not as the primary value Picks -> They only have 1 pick that they can trade ('29 or '30) - as the '25 is going to OKC and the '27 is going to Brooklyn (there are protections on both of these which may make it slip to the '26 and '28 picks).
