Here's an example of the big man looking around to make a pass.
Scoot's man gets caught ball watching, and Scoot cuts behind him and the big man throws a perfect pass.
This is exactly the kind of pass Nurkic loves to make.

Should be cued up to 5:39

Respectfully, have you watched him play defense? Please tell me you have.

It was the book on him coming out of college.

It's the book on him now.

Offensive tools—nice. But let's pump the breaks a tick on Orlando.

It is bad for the league but oh well. This is the direction the league is going. Players will always choose the big contract over free agency because they can just dictate where & when they want to leave. It’s like these smaller market teams are like another development team for the larger markets. You can thank players like LeBron and KD for starting this kind of thing. POWER TO THE PLAYERS!!

It has nothing to do with being a small market team. No franchise is safe from a marquee player demanding to go somewhere else. Not the Knicks, not the Nets, not the 76ers.

If the league wants to end this stuff, stipulate in the CBA that player-instigated trades result in the loss of years on a contract beyond the current one. Additionally, the receiving team gets no Bird rights. The player becomes a free agent at the end of the next season and gets what the market will bear.

Interesting. Of course, that means that any player that believes that the remainder of his existing long-term contract severely underpays him will use a trade demand as a mechanism to obtain early free agency.

Nothing says the current team has to go along with the trade. But, yeah, I suppose that’s a possibility.

This dude pretending like the pile of garbage that they have is worth parsing out in a negotiation....

Like Jovic... or Jaquez.... or Martin..... are really good players. They're not.

If the report from Portland is to Miami to "make their best offer" that means that we don't think they have made their best offer yet. This is about Miami thinking that they can squeeze Joe into trading Dame for Herro, Robinson, and a couple picks. It's insulting.

Maybe the trade is done if they put all their chips in.... maybe not, but why would Joe accept something as horrible as Herro, Robinson, and picks?

There's no pressure on Portland. People expect the Blazers to be a lottery team next season.
