Some info from Toronto side: https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/articl...mix-for-damian-lillard-but-is-it-a-good-idea/ - Toronto is confident they can outbid Miami with an offer of OG/Trent/Young/Dick/draft picks. - Brooklyn could be in the mix if Portland is willing to take Simmons' contract. - Orlando could be reaching out to Portland as well.
could you treat suggs like the tyler herro of this trade and add a 4th team to exchange for a wing/F/C? Isaac immediately comes off the books.
I like the fact that Brooklyn with all of those picks is finally being mentioned. I'd do this and I'd even let them keep the Philly pick if it were a deal breaker. I've thought that the Nets were the most logical destination for Dame anyway. They end up with a rotation of: Dame, Bridges, Johnson, DFS, Claxton, Dinwiddie, O'Neal, Walker and they have two huge TPEs and still have 3 or 4 tradeable FRPs and 5 SRPs.
I would not say no to that but since re-signing OG is not a sure thing I would want to know more about the draft picks. I certainly would prefer to get Precious though. I just like his energy under the boards. As for Simmons, I would take that over the Miami deal if they included Clowney.
It's so sad that the type of player that Isaac is listed as by fanspo is "Low Minute". Fuck... I really liked his game and injuries have decimated him.
Yep my bad. I just can’t imagine Dame going to a rebuild team though. They also drafted Anthony Black.

Orlando would have made a ton of sense pre-draft if their picks had been included. Coulda had Walker and Lively with those picks, and that would have been amazing. But since they selected Black and Howard, I have no interest.
reports, yes. Click happy podcasts, sure. Trending hashtags on Twitter posted everywhere, Yuup. Many ideas are only speculation. Some folks are under the premise it's going to be a bad trade with Miami. The details of the trade are still being negotiated. If Portland gets 3-4 FRP, 3-4 2nds, + a young prospect or 2 from the Heat ... get the confetti for Cronin's parade ready.
OK sure, we might also land Giannis, and Jokic. All of that, as you said, is speculation. What is not is the behavior of Dame and Goodwin, that's public record.
Some variation on your Brooklyn trade has always been my favorite idea. Whitehead and Clowney are both intriguing prospects, the draft capital is delicious and Simmons is possibly salvageable. If Simmons returned to his old form and at least dunked/laid in the ball when open, he would be an outstanding fit on the team and that trade might become not just good, but incredible.
