Right he is requesting to be traded to Miami, that is his preference but in none of those articles are you going to find reporting that says he will only play there, again, unless I missed something.
It's unbelievable. Miami almost didn't make the playoffs with Herro on the team. Almost fucked up the play-in lol And then what? Giannis gets injured, Butler is amazing for a few games to win it, then Wohoo they beat the Knicks led by hall of Famer Jalen Brunson. Almost shit the bed in coachless Boston, gets demolished in the finals by a team they admitted was much better than them after Butler is afraid to shoot from 3 *and* the midrange For Weeks! Lost Vincent, maybe will lose Struss as well. Robinson and Martin are inconsistent One of the worst home crowds in the league Dame: I'M ONLY WILLING TO PLAY WITH THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME TEAM!!!1
Herro and awful Miami picks? What can that get you around the league? That's Zach Levine/Kuzma territory.
That thought can fuck off. We have no obligation to give Dame away to try and help him win. Hopefully Fentress gets on a plane and follows Dame wherever he goes.
This from the guy who made a bullshit comment about us wanting more for Dame than we were willing to offer up for fringe All-Stars like Bridges or OG or Siakam.
My thought is Fentress is an idiot. He acts like only one team can be a contender if Dame is added. Miami is overrated.
You had me at Fentress is an idiot. We used to have drinking games on who get get him to respond in an arrogant, pissed off manner the quickest. It never took look. So sanctimonious and so predictable.
I think the true number of contenders if you add Dame is pretty small. Lakers Heat maybe Raptors Maybe Spurs - not sure how good Wemby will be. Celtics Clippers Utah wouldn’t be. Brooklyn wouldn’t be Not sure about the Knicks
I think what they're going to discover, and what the fans are going to blame on Cronin, is that the market for Lillard is not going to bring a huge return. I think the initial excitement will get some teams caught up in the moment, and then reality will set in. The guy is undoubtedly an incredible competitor, a brilliant scorer, and one of the most clutch shooters in the game's history. He's also a 33 year old ball dominant point guard who leaves a lot to be desired on the defensive side of the ball. Then you have $200 million to deal with. I think this is a get it done and tear off the bandaid situation. It's going to hurt, and the fans are going to scream, but they sure as hell don't have a future when his 60mil comes due in a few years and they're trying to sign the current group of young players. Oh, and I agree with CJ...Going to be fun to watch these young guys play basketball.
Philly maybe. All depends on how Dame and Embiid do and if they can stay healthy. I don’t think Dame makes New Orleans a contender. They’d be a solid playoff team but unless Zion is healthy and he stays healthy, I don’t see them as a contender.
