    dude...I've never licked my shoes in a game period...as I said it grosses me out but players do it
    ...it's not about you or your experience...you don't have to believe my observations...nor trust my memory..choices I found a video of Steve Nash wiping his pits with a towel and tossing the towel to Ron Artest and Artest wipes his face with the towel...Shaq was a hand licker....and also wiped his shoes

    Yeah...no. Was very common when I was in high school. A little moisture on the soles--right on the balls of your feet--can significantly improve your traction. Quick start/stop, change of direction. Been doing it for decades.
