I wonder: if Portland is 5 or 6 games out of 8th with 20 games to go if we'd see a little bit of tanking in Portland's rotations I anticipate Portland closing the gap though, even with Dame out because Memphis has a killer schedule. Their next 10 games: @ Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Lakers @ Los Angeles Clippers @ Houston Rockets Sacramento Kings Los Angeles Lakers @ Atlanta Hawks @ Brooklyn Nets @ Dallas Mavericks Atlanta Hawks there are three B2B's in those 10 games
Finally an update. I really hope he's there the 27th for the one time I get to watch the team in person.
CJs numbers without Dame have actually been pretty good (Part of the reason why I wish Olshey would consider trading him but that’s another discussion.) Hopefully it continues.
CJ. If I can see his numbers without Dame, I’m sure another GM can as well and maybe they'd value him as a lead guy and pay Portland accordingly.
Dame out 3-5 games. I think we go 2-3. Hope I'm wrong. We have Pelicans on Friday at Portland. L Pistons on Sunday At Portland. W Celtics on Tuesday At Portland. L At Pacers on Thursday. L At Hawks on Saturday. W
Man the rotation is gonna get interesting with not only dame out, but Hezonja as well. That leaves CJ and Simons as our only ballhandlers, meaning Simons will most likely come off the bench. It could also mean Little sees time at the two.
any pointguard/leadguard/point forwards in the g-league worthy or willing to sign a ten day? cupboard seems really bare after cj and ant.
'Cause Memphis still has a super-tough schedule remaining, Blazers are only 4 games back in the loss column, and Dame wants to make the playoffs. I mean, I don't think he will, but nobody's going to stop him from trying as long as there's a chance.
Careful--@hoopsjock will lump you in with the likes of me if you make such definitive claims about the team's playoff chances.
