I never had an issue with Clyde going to Houston, or LaMarcus going to SanAntonio, for that matter, it was 100% their right to do so. But, where Drexler loses me is on this, the wearing of Rockets colors on his post career accolades., That, is bullshit.
He wanted a job he thought he was qualified for, and figured he would just get it based on his name. Same thing he did when he "coached" and u of h. Doesn't mean anything.
As far as Blazers career milestones, it will be a fun few seasons to watch as Dame assumes the top rungs - I hope Dame retires as a Blazer.
So in this video, was each player asked who they wanted to be associated with? Was the team name on the jacket? The color of the jacket is black, where the red rockets colors are red from that time period. Clyde has rubbed me the wrong way during Blazers/Rockets league pass broadcast, and i wish he was more a part of this community, but maybe he had nothing to do with this production by the NBA. I hope Clyde is more involved in team events in the future like Bill Walton is.
Olajuwon's was the same color as Clyde's. I think it might have been the dark navy blue the Rockets had at the time. Team names were on the backs. I'm fairly certain they asked the players.
Then , that was a HUGE mistake by Clyde, and a definite slam to the face of the Blazers and their fans.
That being said , it's time for forgiveness and Clyde to be more a part of the future in team functions. I sure hope he wants to be. The picture of him , Bill, and Dame at the top 75 was pretty awesome. I have a cool Drexler plaque , but even it's flawed. It has Seattle's skyline in the backing. I got it in the early 90's. But the backing was so stupid. I bought the plaque anyways cause it has a cool collage of Clyde.
There was another poster that used to start them all the time. You better take the job. Don’t think he’ll be doing it this year.
Was it @GrandpaBlaze ? I remember someone had a thread for his stats watch i remember seeing? I think you are referring to game prediction threads? Im referring to predicting which game he will break the records in. Like what game will he pass Drexler? 63?, 72? You should start a thread to create a pool for each stat for people to pick which game he breaks the record. Then i will post my winning prediction in each thread and win a bunch of @crandc cookies. I will share the cookies with you for creating the threads.
I will occasionally post the stats of the current Blazers and their place on the all-time Blazer list. Also do the predictions game. That is enough for my feeble mind to do.
