Things I'm realizing: Now we know why Stotts would go into Aldridge in the late 4th even though he takes too long to set up and shoots below average from 15 feet out. Now we know why the last play of Houston Game 6 was drawn up for LA, even though Dame short-circuited it. We don't have to deal with either of those things anymore.
Prediction: these boards will go crazy again, when the Spurs beat writer write an article about the strange/dysfunctional relationship between LMA and Kawhi Leonard.
I was recalling an event happening immediately after news. Batum tweeted two words... "This League" Let this sink in for a bit... Now think why he said it. He knew he was traded to appease Aldridge. When later he found out that Aldridge picked Spurs, you know he was pissed. Pissed at how he wanted to stay in Portland, was forced out because Aldridge wanted him out, then didn't pick them anyway. This is why we got a heart felt letter from Batum. He knew what Rip City was about. Now I knew he had to go and it's most likely best he did go, but this league did this. It's become lazy and what will you do for me now. No more of this Willis Reid winning a game with a broken leg shit. Those days have past.
Hey, we'll know with more certainty when Batum plays the Spurs and tries to dunk on Aldridge's stupid face.
