this is encouraging. Like Nash taking D'Antoni on as his assistant. I'd be onboard with Billups if he brings on former head coaches into the realm. Not sure who he's close with.

Interestingly, our recent head coaches all seem like they would be great assistant coaches. Stotts, Cheeks, McMillan ... I'd take any or all of those guys on the bench, but not in a lead role.

This is my preference as well. Get Steve Clifford on the staff, but the head coach should be someone new. The best thing about Billups is that he would immediately command respect from the roster.

It just means hold yourself to a high standard whether people are looking or not. Nothing cryptic just Dame talking about being a good dude like he does.

...but he captioned it "Sucka Duckin." so that leads me to believe he doesn't think someone is being solid. Could it be N.O. he is referring to? Or is it just normal offseason personal type messaging? Or maybe it's just referring to a boxer or something?

neil not taking dame's calls would be the easiest way for him to get fired.

im hoping it's jkidd he's referring to. maybe kendrick perkins.

    ugh

i hate that we're decoding cryptic IG posts instead of talking smack about the coach at halftime of this second round series game.

It's probably meant for someone that he doesn't want us to know about, who will know that they're being one thing in front of people and another thing in private.

at first I thought it wouldn't be Dame's way to talk about Olshey like that

but then I thought, even if Dame was ok with Stotts being fired, and I'm assuming he was, everything I've seen says Dame likes and respects Stotts a great deal. And if that's the case, the way Olshey trashed Stotts all thru that press conference could have really rankled Dame, a lot. Especially because Olshey was so busy dodging any accountability for himself....you know, duckin blame. And especially if Olshey has had any discussions recently with Dame when he didn't stab Stotts in the back so repeatedly. It was a pretty slimy performance by Olshey. I'm actually hoping Dame was referring to it. Maybe that would reach the numbskulls in Seattle and get some necessary gears turning

If that is what it was about I don't think Dame is the kind of person that keeps that to himself. I bet he'd get on the line with Jody or Bert and make his feelings about it known.
