I would rather have facts than a fabricated story with no basis. That's often all rumors are. Someone starts a story and then it snowballs with nothing to back it up.
Opinions are not facts. So no one should offer up their opinion on things? You haven't ever had a hypothesis, or a theory or a thought that something may have or might happen just because it seems fair that it might have without having to have a spot in the encyclopedia? Its your opinion that rumors are started because someone offered an opinion, which I disagree with, unless someone else takes that opinion and twists it around to create a rumor, which is what it feels like you are trying to do here. You should ease off the opinions vs facts issue you have. Many people have opinions around here and thoughts. they are going to post them. I hope you aren't going to trivialize every post around here because it doesn't have a factual basis. Not everybody is a Clownzana man.
You are making this into a much bigger deal than it is and for that this will be my last response on this matter. Rumors and opinions are part of life and I accept that but don;t particularly care for false rumors. Opinions and rumors based on nothing but a whim are basically worthless IMO. Opinions and rumors can be based off some facts such as for this example that Dame or CJ might have hinted at that CJ wants out and wants to be the man on his own team, but yet we don't have anything remotely close to that. For a rumor to have any legs it should be based on some advanced knowledge of at least something remotely close to the rumor started but in your case you just pulled it out of the air. The only thing we know is that Dame and CJ are very close and have said how much they have enjoyed playing with each other so again, nothing to base a rumor that CJ wants out so that he has his "own" team. Your rumor has no more basis than mine where I said Durant and LeBron want to play in Portland with Lillard and is why I don;t care for many of canzano's pieces as he often starts rumors with no support which I feel is what you were doing. This whole thread has been mostly garbage based off one stupid article by canzano as you aren;t the only one that has jumped to conclusion and created a false scenario, but I also don't see any value in doing that in a forum or in person. I'm just not a fan of BS. When and if it comes out that's the way CJ feels from someone of authority then I will believe it. OK, I have said my piece and will now bow out of this discussion.
It seems be a common practice in this forum by some to make a statement and then act all surprised and basically deny what is printed in this forum for all to see thus my post of say it forget it (as at least there is no proof what is said) write it regret it (it's available for anyone to see what was said when in print)

Man, I don't get you. You say you heard that Dame wants Olshey gone and that he is meeting with Allen to discuss trades including CJ. Then you say that you never said anything about trading CJ. All this based off of a meeting which Dame is saying didn't or isn't about to take place that seems to be made up be a local columnist as click bait. That doesn't make sense.
Canzano got it half right, Damn is meeting with Chris Paul, so he can laugh at him for getting injured in the playoffs again. Kinda harsh of Dame but CP is as much of a dick as Canzano.
